Little Totham Village Sign.

The arch represents the fine Norman archway found over the door in the twelfth century parish church All Saints.

The corn sheaf, plough and orchard show the agricultural nature of the village with the woodland depicting the original forested area.

The parish stretches to the river Blackwater which is represented on the bottom of this sign

The coat of arms on the left is from the Samms family who lived in the Hall in the 16th and 17th century with the seax on the right.

This village sign can be found on the common and was designed by the Lord of the Manor - Thomas Mabbit.
